Picking the Right Team

If getting in the game is important, then getting on the RIGHT team is crucial.  Choosing the right team or in the home-based business game, the right company with the right product, will ensure that your business thrives.  Look for:

1.  A product that is easy to talk about.  If you are going to share a business opportunity with someone, you want to make sure that the product is not too technical and people don't avoid you because they don't want to hear about it.

2.  A product that doesn't expect your clients to change their lifestyle to take part as a client or business partner.

3.  A product that is not too expensive.  Even though consumable products are great for you because customers must keep buying to improve your business, if it costs too much, your clients will not last.

4.  A product that does not require you to carry inventory.

5.  A product that meets a need of MANY people, not just a few people with a very specific problem.

There is a lot of opportunity out there, and most all of them have a good product.  I personally use many products from home-based business owners, but I would never choose them as a business because they don't meet these requirements.

Be careful not to choose a business just because the product or service seems "cool" to you. Remember, you can use the product, without selling it.  When choosing a business, leave your own emotions out the process.
